This week we look at the book of Daniel and there are lots of references to Christ and the Gospel, (not to mention the End Times!)
but we focus on chapter 2 and take a look at Nebuchadnezzar's dream and how it relates to God's Sovereignty; a theme that runs throughout the book of Daniel.

D and I are out of town next week so no sermon til the 7th of Feb where we will wrap up this series with Jonah!

and saw that these are essentials to the human existence and we receive these blessings thru Christ.

Correspondingly our sermon for the day is taken from John 3:16 and 1 John 4:9-10.
in this message, we look at the 4 words for Love in the Ancient Greek and see how this gives us insight into God's Agape Love which is most profoundly found in Jesus.

We begin the advent series on 29 November with the lighting of the Hope Candle and with this candle, we are reminded that the Coming of Christ gives us Hope. Hope is a necessity for life. We cannot live without it.

In this sermon, we look into how:

The Knowledge of Someone on our Side GIVES us Hope
The Support of Someone on our Side energizes and FUELS our Hope
The Encouragement of Someone on our Side GROWS our Hope

Like Faith, Hope only works if it is placed in the correct place.
We find the ultimate source of this Hope is in Christ.
